Illinois Valley Youth Enrichment Association

2019

IVYEA title=

This has been the biggest year for us yet. We are strongly dedicated to growing our Association and finding more ways to enrich more youth in our area.  We set up our first booth this Year at the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce sponsored "Sasquatch, Wine and Arts Festival". We had a double canopy with fun games for the children to play while also creating and selling commemorative buttons for the festival goers. With a portion of the proceeds from this event, we were able to make a donation to the Illinois Valley High School, Safe & Sober Grad Night as well as help support a kindergarten's  outside garden at an Ashland Elementary School.

Following the SWAG Festival we were inspired and set up a booth again at the Illinois Valley Lions Club Annual Labor Day Festival. Again there was a lot of fun to be had by the children as well as fundraising by our Volunteers. During this event we also partnered up with the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce and helped to sell merchandise for their fundraising efforts.

October 2, 2019 also marked a big day for IVYEA. On this day we opened IV Reclaimed, our latest venture and another avenue to raise funds and help the valley residents. More information about IV Reclaimed can be found at the link on our links banner above.

Our Current Goal: Fundraising for our fourth annual stocking drive.

This is our fourth year of our annual stocking drive. We stuff and give out stockings to over 500 elementary level students between the local schools. This year we plan to go bigger and better. This year we are inviting parents and guardians of homeschooled students to get in on the fun. Our mission is to make all the youth of our valley know that our communities cares for them. Regardless of economic standing, race, gender, and any other similar labels. We support all the youth of our community. Please call to find out more or volunteer to help. 541-592-6440.
